If so, we have a perfect way to for your store or business to be recognized for their hard work and commitment to safety! This award is a proactive way to engage membership, benchmark performance, recognize companies and sustain retro performance focusing on prevention for our Retro participants.
Any company that is actively enrolled in the 2024-2025 Washington Food Industry Association Retrospective Rating Program and who has not been part of the WFIA Waiver Program the last 2-years may apply for the EISA award.
Annual paid premium is based on the company’s entire annual workers’ compensation paid premium in Washington State. If an employer has multiple locations, the company should perform an internal review of all establishments and submit one application for the best performing location.
Companies may submit their WFIA EISA application.
WFIA and ERNwest will review applications, contact and schedule onsite reviews with the establishments whose self-assessment scores > 90+ on the self-assessment form.
A gold seal of excellence in safety can be posted on their website and other printed materials, prize money, and their Retro refund check one month early to be delivered June 1, 2025.
